  1. The world is getting smaller. A cliché perhaps but true nonetheless. Clients are exploring opportunities throughout the world and the outside world looks to developing countries such as South Africa for opportunities. We at BKI have been mindful of this since after true democracy in our country – in 1994 – and have over the years worked hard to establish many relationships with international law firms – large, medium and small – for the sole purposes of being able to assist and guide our clients in other jurisdictions where they explore business opportunities or in fact conduct business enterprises. This has proven exceptionally successful because it adds another layer to the services we are able to offer our clients.

We have established relationships in many countries such as for example America, the European Union and the Far East which has allowed our clients the opportunity to access local legal expertise and guidance with the comfort that they are dealing with a colleague / attorney that has a further sense of accountability and commitment (because of the relationship with BKI) to our client’s cause and interests. The value of this is immeasurable and we are proud that we have been able to and currently still assist and guide clients in their expansion and vision.
