Brian Kahn is the principal of Brian Kahn Inc., which he founded in 1969. Brian has straddled two important disciplines in the legal field, one being corporate / commercial law (mergers, acquisitions, corporate strategies, etc.) and the other being dispute resolution in the corporate/civil field (arbitrations and litigation). Brian has arbitrated and litigated locally and internationally and been involved in medium and small commercial transactions. He acts for listed entities, large private companies, family conglomerates, entrepreneurs and individuals. He has represented political organisations, African Royalty and sitting and former African Heads of State.
He has established firm collegial and professional relationships as well as strategic alliances with colleagues throughout the world many of whom refer matters to him on behalf of their offshore clients where he has acted either alone or as co-counsel. He has also acted as Arbitrator in large and complex commercial disputes.

Michelle was articled to this firm and has over 16 years’ experience in commercial work. Michelle is a senior associate in the Commercial Department and heads the Employment Department. Her areas of experience include commercial due diligence, all aspects of employment related matters, related litigation and referrals to tribunals and councils, all aspects of commercial acquisitions and disposals, corporate governance, property transactions, restraint of trade agreements and related litigation and confidentiality agreements as well as Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts).

Kerisha (Keri) ReddyAttorney

Keri was articled to Brian in 2016 as a candidate attorney at the firm and now joins the firm as a junior associate in the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution department. Keri has had a great deal of experience in commercial litigation which includes High Court applications, trial work, arbitrations as well as insolvency law with particular emphasis on insolvency inquiries.
Keri is a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces.
